About the role

Blokhaus is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Person to join our team in Queenstown. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of our business, it would also involve delivery driving. This is a full-time position, with opportunities for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting customers with product inquiries and sales at the trade desk
• Delivering orders to clients in a timely and professional manner
• Managing stock, receiving deliveries, and keeping the warehouse organized
• Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and offering relevant product recommendations
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
• Assisting with inventory management, including stock replenishment and merchandising
• Collaborating with the wider team to support the overall operations of the store

What we're looking for

• Trade background or experience in a similar industry
• Retail or customer service experience
• A valid forklift license
• Mandatory: Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license
• Strong customer service and sales experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide a memorable customer experience
• Driven, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high-quality store presentation
