SHEQ Manager - Construction 
Location: Potters Bar
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
 
Our client, a well-established and growing multidisciplinary construction company, is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to join their team based out of Potters Bar. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and driven professional to play a key role in maintaining and improving Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards across a diverse portfolio of projects.
 
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of SHEQ, you will be responsible for ensuring company-wide compliance with all relevant legislation, industry standards, and internal procedures. You will work closely with site teams to promote a positive SHEQ culture and drive continuous improvement across operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce SHEQ compliance across multiple construction sites
• Maintain and manage ISO accreditations and ensure audit readiness
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Support and guide site teams on best practices in health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Utilise systems such as Safety Culture and Field View to track performance and compliance
• Produce reports and communicate findings to senior management
• Deliver training and toolbox talks where required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a SHEQ role within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and compliance processes
• Experience using Safety Culture System and Field View
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with site teams and stakeholders
• NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) preferred
• Experience working on façades, cladding, or social housing projects would be highly advantageous
