Hill McGlynn is proud to be working with a growing and forward-thinking organisation operating across London and the South East. As part of continued expansion and increased workload, they are seeking an experienced AC / Refrigeration Engineer to join their team.

Our client is a reputable Integrated Property and M&E Contractor with over 65 years experience in keeping buildings performing safely and efficiently across the UK.

With a steady stream of repeat business and new enquiries, they offer long-term stability and genuine progression opportunities.
 
The Role:
As an AC / Refrigeration Engineer, you will carry out servicing, maintenance and reactive repairs on a range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial sites.
You will also participate in a 1 week in 4 on-call rota.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Service and maintenance of AC and refrigeration systems
• Fault finding and reactive repairs
• Working on split systems, VRV/VRF systems and refrigeration units
• Ensuring compliance with F-Gas regulations
• Completing service documentation
• Participating in a 1 in 4 on-call rota

 
Ideal Candidate Profile:

• F-Gas qualification (essential)
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred)
• Proven experience in AC and refrigeration maintenance
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Based in London, Kent or South East
• Own van preferred (company van and fuel card provided if required)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

 
What's on Offer:

• £50,000 - £55,000 basic salary depending on experience
• Permanent position
• Time and a half paid for call-outs
• On-call 1 week in 4
• Call-outs rarely later than 10pm
• £30 bonus per successful fix on call-out

• Fuel card provided
