Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Residential Developer

Hill McGlynn Recruitment is pleased to be working with a respected and growing residential developer based in Bromley, who is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their commercial team.

Our client delivers high-quality residential developments across **London and the South East, and this role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a range of live housing projects while developing your career within residential construction.

The Role: As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with senior commercial staff and project teams, assisting with the financial and contractual management of residential developments.
Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with cost control and budget management across residential projects
• Supporting the preparation of valuations and cost reports
• Assisting with subcontractor procurement and administration
• Helping manage variations and change control
• Supporting final accounts and project close-out
• Liaising with site teams and subcontractors

The Ideal Candidate

• Some experience within Quantity Surveying in residential construction or development
• Strong commercial awareness and numerical ability
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to travel to sites across London and the South East
