You may not be actively looking for a new role…
But you may be starting to feel like your role has shifted from building and shaping to simply keeping things running….
You thrive on creating something new, working across the business, and having genuine ownership
So although not actively looking you may be interested in an opportunity to lead the launch of a digital, direct-to-consumer insurance proposition, focused on a retail-style product line, within an established, regulated insurance environment.
The foundations are in place, but the direction, distribution strategy and execution will be led by you.
This isn’t about inheriting a mature product and making small adjustments.
You’ll be leading the distribution strategy for a new direct-to-consumer product launching early next year!
- Building out a new proposition rather than maintaining an existing one
- Working closely with underwriting, data, finance and strategy teams
- Helping move the business away from manual, spreadsheet-heavy processes
- Playing a visible role in a smaller team where your contribution genuinely matters
There is real scope here to influence how things are done, not just deliver against a fixed roadmap.
This role will appeal to someone who enjoys ownership, variety and momentum.
You might already be working in insurance in a role that touches product, portfolio or distribution and wanting more end-to-end responsibility
Or you may be in a larger organisation where impact feels diluted and you maybe someone who enjoys balancing strategy with hands-on delivery
Experience working with digital or direct-to-consumer products in a regulated environment is key.
Insurance experience is highly relevant, particularly where you’ve worked across functions and been involved in building or evolving propositions.
What’s on offer
- Salary between £80,000 and £100,000
- Hybrid working – 2 days a week in the office (London)
- Discretionary bonus (with flexibility if you’re waiting on one)
- £1,000 annual leisure allowance
- Strong pension (10% employer contribution)
- Private medical and dental
- Wellness days and enhanced family leave
- Ongoing development and visibility as the business grows
This is a role for someone who wants to build, influence and leave their mark, rather than just keep things ticking over.
Happy to talk it through informally – no CV needed to start the conversation. Drop me a message to express your interest and I will get back to you.
