French speaking graduate looking to start a career in insurance broking?

You'll be joining an established broking team as a Trainee Broker, supporting experienced brokers and getting hands-on exposure from day one. This isn't a purely observational role. You'll be involved in live business, client enquiries, placements, renewals, and the full lifecycle of insurance transactions.
What you'll be doing day to day

• Supporting brokers with client enquiries and insurance placements
• Drafting policy documentation and endorsements
• Approaching insurers and helping place business
• Assisting with renewals and ongoing account servicing
• Preparing information packs and handling data accurately
• Supporting internal reporting and following broking protocols
• Getting involved wherever the team needs support as opportunities arise

What this role is really about Learning how international insurance works, developing strong commercial awareness, and building the foundations to become a broker in your own right. You'll be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and grow your confidence in a professional, fast-moving environment.
This role would suit you if

• You have a 2:1 degree or above
• You speak French (essential)
• You have an interest in current affairs, politics, economics or global trade
• You've had up to two years' experience in an office-based sales role
• You're comfortable with numbers and have solid attention to detail
• You're organised, resilient, and able to juggle multiple deadlines
• You're ambitious, proactive, and keen to build a long-term career rather than just take a job

You don't need insurance experience. What matters more is your mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
