How will you make an impact
CyberCX is looking for an experienced Project / Programme Manager to join our Strategy and Risk group. Working on a variety of client facing engagements, you will work independently or within a transformation team to act as the delivery lead for our clients to help deliver large scale CyberCX services and/or enable our clients to deliver their own set of prioritised outcomes.
The successful applicant is responsible for engaging with customers to solve their most challenging digital and cyber delivery problems. The applicant is an experienced business delivery professional capable of leading client scoping workshops and producing high-quality deliverables, supporting CyberCX customers with methodologies including Agile Consulting, and traditional Project Delivery Consulting.
Day to day you will:
- Lead discovery activities with client stakeholders to inform deliverables and shape client outcomes.
- Build trusted customer relationships and collaborate to enable greater impact through the change process.
- Lead the project team in the successful delivery of complex projects using Agile / Waterfall methodologies.
- Work with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Ensure key stakeholders have identified and agreed the prioritisation of initiatives, in comparison to other work ongoing in parallel.
- Develop roadmaps, plans and timelines, and track progress against milestones.
- Identify and manage delivery risks and issues, escalating as required.
- Facilitate all project ceremonies, including kick-offs, planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure that project teams are following best practices and that project deliverables are of high quality.
- Develop and deliver budget tracking mechanisms ensuring ensure that projects are delivered according to budget and schedule.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and facilitate retrospectives to capture lessons learned and implement improvements.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team / squad and across the organization.
- Be a strong communicator and facilitator for client stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
- Maintain and contribute our key client relationships, working to improve and develop them and be part of a team that is extremely client centric.
Skills & Qualifications - Bring 5+ years’ experience in technology, cyber, risk or consulting, with the ability to drive delivery improvement across complex organisations.
- Draw on strong knowledge of both traditional and agile delivery approaches to help teams navigate change while keeping outcomes on track.
- Communicate with confidence, build trust and influence effectively across a wide range of stakeholders and organisational levels.
- Use strong analytical, problem-solving and adaptable thinking to respond to challenges and keep momentum through change.
- Hold project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum Master or similar, or bring equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant qualifications in cyber, business, technology, finance or related fields are valued, but not essential — we welcome diverse backgrounds and transferable experience
