Position Summary & Primary Objectives

The Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer – Cloud Security & Solutions will deliver high-quality Microsoft Cloud solutions for CyberCX customers. In conjunction with Senior Consultants, Solutions Architects and Managing Consultants, the Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer – Cloud Security & Solutions will ensure that projects are delivered to the customer is outcome focused and remain appropriate for their business requirements.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with our team and customers to deliver Azure & Microsoft 365 platform security projects in line with the agreed scope, CyberCX standards, and relevant industry standards or frameworks
• Produce high-quality reports
• Author documentation to the highest standard
• Conduct customer meetings and workshops
• Apply DevOps processes & methodologies as required
• Manage customer expectations, communicate effectively, and develop professional relationships with customers
• Work closely with team to ensure project delivery meet customer expectations
• Continuously develop skills and knowledge around the relevant technologies and solutions in market
• Contribute to a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and accountability through consistent employee engagement

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a DevOps Engineering role
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience
• Relevant Microsoft certifications
• Sound understanding of cloud architecture and landing zone patterns.
• Experience with the following technologies:
• Microsoft Sentinel
• Microsoft Defender Suite
• Microsoft Purview / Information Protection
• Azure/M365 Security Workloads
• IDAM: Entra ID
• Modern Endpoint Management (Windows 10 / 11, Intune, AutoPilot, Enterprise Mobility)
• Microsoft Azure Cloud Platforms
• Microsoft Azure Application Development
• Cloud Networking- architecture, routing, ACLs, load balancing
• Containers and Kubernetes
• Azure DevOps or DevSecOps
• Azure Security Services
• Able to work autonomously and use initiative to achieve desired outcomes
• Able to explore new challenges, and know when guidance from someone with more experience
• Strong time management skills- ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines
• Great collaboration skills; work well as part of a team
• Strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a can-do attitude
• Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner
