Sampling Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of samplers to ensure that all sampling related practices are adhered to.
About the Position:
The Sampling Team Leader will be based in Johannesburg and will report to the Site Supervisor for Inspection South Africa (PTY) LTD . A Sampling Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of samplers to ensure that all sampling related practices tasks, methodologies, administrations, quality control and HSE of the site.

The position will be responsible to:

Responsible for ensuring ALS quality protocols are adhered to and quality targets always met and in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards
• Prepare and comply with internal as well as external audits for the region.
Sampling Team Leader Responsibilities:
• To conduct sampling and inspection activities and prepare samples as per the relevant procedures or directed by the site supervisor
• These activities may include but are not limited to sampling, packing, labelling, sealing, sizing and weighing of various commodities
• To record all necessary information regarding sampling and inspection activities as per relevant procedures or as directed by the immediate supervisor. This may include completion of forms and or obtaining photographic evidence of activities
• Assist in investigation of client complaint and ensure speedy resolutions of queries
• Participate in section audits
• Adhering to all communicated ALS policies and procedure
• Report all sampling equipment failures and faults on time.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience as a Sampler
