Seeking a Scheduling Manager to provide oversight and analysis of P6 schedules for the sitework on a data center build - Port Washington, WI
The Scheduling Manager serves as the Owner's Representative responsible for independent oversight and analysis of contractor‑developed schedules for data center site development. This role focuses on validating sequencing, logic, and risk across early works and civil scopes—including earthwork, utilities, paving, and site access—to ensure schedules are realistic, contract‑compliant, and aligned with program milestones. The Scheduler provides proactive schedule risk identification, variance analysis, and executive‑level reporting to support informed decision‑making and protect downstream base build and vertical construction start dates.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant functional discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-10+ years related work experience.
• Understand the Critical Path Method of scheduling theoretically and as it applies to projects
• Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts/general conditions) at all levels of design.
• Expert knowledge of Primavera Scheduling Software (P6, latest Version) and MS Project.
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Office software tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.
• Data center experience is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Independently audit general contractor (GC) Primavera P6 schedules (XER files) for accuracy and conformance to client standards and project requirements.
• Help to establish and maintain a national, repeatable scheduling framework—including templates, coding structures, and reporting formats.
• Track and report critical milestones, enabling client leadership to make timely, data-driven decisions.
• Baseline & Progress Audits: Monthly at minimum; Focused Audits: Weekly, upon GC update receipt or at client request.
• Track OFCI equipment delivery dates and highlight problem areas, with the afore mentioned superintendent and subcontractor buy-in to solutions.
o Run DCMA Checks. 2. Compare against contractual baseline & previous period. 3. Review activities that are running in parallel. 4. Review multiple float paths. 5. Identify variance drivers & risks. 6. Recommend corrective actions.
• Standardize L1 and L2 Milestones to be able to compare different construction projects.
o Validate that constraints are assigned only to required L1 and L2 identifies
milestones and ensure that the critical path is logical.
• Ability to translate, create and update schedule sequences to PDF drawings for visual workflow.
• You will join the Project Controls team in providing professional scheduling capabilities and enable Client’s ability to profoundly affect and accelerate speed to market
• Responsible for developing policies and procedures for scheduling and facilitating user training with our internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of planning and sequencing of activities from concept through commissioning
• Define activities and associated scope, durations, logic, and interface between activities and resource loading of those activities
• Review and analyze critical path schedules, in an efficient and comprehensive manner with Superintendent.
• Develop comprehensive plans that communicates the programs, projects, and strategic goals
• Monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analysis, and issue schedule reports
required by management and project procedures
• Investigate and incorporate project constraints in planning effort
• Perform Time Impact Analysis and Claims analyzation
• Develop schedule variance analysis
• Run schedule risk scenarios based on Monte Carlo and other risk analysis
