We are actively seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to supportdata center retrofit projects in Dalton, GA.
Location:
Dalton, GA (local, remote flex, or relocation is possible - can provide per diem/travel stipend)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Estimating, Accounting or relevant functional discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-10+ years related work experience
Understand the Critical Path Method of scheduling theoretically and as it applies to projects
Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts/general conditions) at all levels of design
Expert knowledge of Primavera Scheduling Software (P6, latest Version) and MS Project
Extensive experience using Microsoft Office software tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work on behalf of the General Contractor of the site to provide Schedule Management Services.
Ability to work with the Superintendent to re-sequence schedule to incorporate delays without pushing the end date. *Making suggestions is key, albeit only the superintendent is authorized to make logic changes.
Ability to run pull plan/schedule coordination micro schedule sessions to test fit delay impacts into schedule - subcontractor buy-in.
Track OFCI equipment delivery dates and highlight problem areas, with the afore mentioned superintendent and subcontractor buy-in to solutions.
This is an on-site only position, no remote work.
Ability to translate, create and update schedule sequences to PDF drawings for visual workflow.
The Construction team is responsible for the management of delivering data centers from conception through commissioning.
Construction also works closely with partner contractors to come up with a vertically integrated design and manages these partners to deliver the projects on schedule and budget
You will join the Project Controls team in providing professional scheduling capabilities and enable Client’s ability to profoundly affect and accelerate speed to market
You will be responsible for creating schedules at every stage of the project lifecycle and be expected to identify ways to re-sequence work to shorten
Responsible for developing policies and procedures for scheduling and facilitating user training with our internal and external stakeholders
Prepare conceptual and detailed schedules
Contribute to the development of planning and sequencing of activities from concept through commissioning
Define activities and associated scope, durations, logic, and interface between activities and resource loading of those activities
Create, review, and analyze critical path schedules, in an efficient and comprehensive manner with Superintendent.
Develop comprehensive plans that communicates the programs, projects, and strategic goals
Represent a realistic and feasible planning approach for our two main internal customers - New Site Development & Construction
Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project's goals (verbal, written, graphically)
Monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures
Understand principles of cost estimating and productivity in establishing schedule parameters (duration, cost and resource loading, etc.)
Investigate and incorporate project constraints in planning effort
Perform Time Impact Analysis and Claims analyzation
Develop schedule variance analysis
Run schedule risk scenarios based on Monte Carlo and other risk analysis
