This position performs a variety of document control functions in direct support of the project or program manager at a semiconductor research site.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 4 plus years of relevant work experience, or a four-year college degree
• Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint
• An understanding of how to identify and handle drawings and other technical engineering documents is also required
• Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and familiarity with SharePoint are required
• Assignments will require a working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems
• Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to
interact effectively with project personnel and management
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• This position performs a variety of document control functions for a project or department in direct support of the project or program manager
• Coordinates the flow of documents between project operations, engineering disciplines, construction team, or other department groups
• Incumbent may be responsible for a small-sized project or multiple aspects of a larger project or program
• Will have knowledge of both the work processes of document control and also the use of electronic systems used to manage documentation
• Under general supervision, performs various clerical and technical tasks in support of a project
• Assignments require PC and organizational skills
• Maintains established files for project document retention
• Works with field staff to obtain and review daily and weekly reports for accuracy and content, and then confirms the reports are sent to the correct points of contact
• Assists in updating manuals, engineering documentation and submittals for assigned project
• Reviews project documents such as drawings, specifications, and technical manuals
• Supports the program manager in the contracting process
• Supports the program manager in the preparation and assembly of Risk Management Plan documents
• Coordinates project requirements with various stakeholders
• Coordinates with project stakeholders and updates project schedule documents in support of the project manager
• Manages the flow of documentation during construction and installation projects, including submittals, Requests For Information (RFI), and Change Order Requests (CORs)
• Communicates with project stakeholders regarding action items and due dates
• Assists in project closeout activities, as needed
• Populates and maintains online electronic storage repository for assigned projects and confirms field staff’s ability to access said information
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
• Contributes as a team player who is deadline driven and works well with others
