About Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join our team here at COSOL!
The FP&A Analyst is a key member of the Finance team responsible for timely reporting, accurate analytics and business partnering.

We are looking for an individual with a hands-on approach, a natural curiosity, excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the desire to work in a dynamic environment.
 
Your expertise in financial modelling, reporting, business partnering, budgeting and forecasting coupled with your professional services or consulting background will see you successfully build credible relationships with key stakeholders in the business and allow you to act as a true, trusted advisor to them.
 
What You’ll Do

• Weekly and monthly reporting and analysis
• Operational reporting
• Provide ad-hoc analysis to support existing and new business units.
• Contribute monthly reporting packs and dashboards with clear, actionable commentary
• Collaborate with business to understand performance drivers and future trends
• Engage and influence stakeholders across the business with clear financial storytelling
• Scenario modelling to understand risk opportunity
• Support the annual budget process
• Manage periodic forecasting submissions and collation
• Assist when needed in month-end and year-end financial close activities.
• Drive continuous process improvement
• Support in the implementation of systems and improvements as required

About You

• You are a tertiary qualified finance specialist whose career to date has ideally been in a professional services or consulting environment where you’ve had a key focus on FP&A
• “Detail oriented” is an understatement when it comes to describing your working style – you absolutely love getting into financial planning analysis and love providing real solutions and improvements for your stakeholders.
• Your problem-solving skills, combined with your ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and requirements is what you’re best known for.
• You have an exceptionally high level of organisational skills including the capacity to set priorities and work to tight deadlines and timeframes
• You are persistent, tenacious and absolutely focused on not only achieving your own goals, but working as a team to help others achieve theirs too
