About Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team here at COSOL!
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the financial performance of COSOL Global’s national People business, as well as maintaining the accuracy and integrity of its underlying accounts.
Your expertise in commercial analysis and financial accounting, coupled with your professional services, consulting or labour hire industry experience will see you successfully build credible relationships with key stakeholders in the business and allow you to truly be a trusted advisor.
 
What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans using Excel models
• Provide clear insights into the drivers of financial performance and influence business decisions in line with strategic objectives
• Lead month end close process of your portfolio including conducting variance analysis vs forecast/budget and passing relevant accruals
• Support the EGM to ensure delivery of finance reporting requirements as well as commercial decision making
• Build excellent working relationships with functional and operational managers and partner with these stakeholders to provide critical financial information that drives key commercial decisions.
• Oversee and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs while optimizing the company’s cash position and forecasting future cash requirements
• Ensure accuracy in financial records and processes across multiple systems and spreadsheets.
• Lead annual Budget process and manage monthly reforecast process

 About You

• You are a tertiary qualified finance specialist whose career to date has ideally been in a business partner, management account or financial analyst role – preferably within a professional services, consulting or labour hire environment
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders to enable you to effectively influence decisions has really attributed to your professional success to date.
• “Detail oriented” is an understatement when it comes to describing your working style – you absolutely love getting into data analysis and providing real solutions and improvements for your stakeholders.
• Your problem-solving skills, combined with your ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and requirements is what you’re best known for.
• You ideally have experience in Fastrack, MYOB and Xero or similar time sheeting and finance systems
• You are resilient, tenacious and absolutely focused on not only achieving your own goals but working as a team to help others achieve theirs too!
