About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Development Manager to join our Queensland team. This role is a permanent full-time opportunity based in our Brisbane office.
Reporting to one of our Development Managers, you will play a key role in supporting the team to affect the exceptional management and delivery of our exciting development projects. Specifically, this role will:
- Support the financial performance of projects through effective cost management and forecasting.
- Assist with management of feasibility models and undertake adhoc financial analysis as directed.
- Assist in the preparation of project documents and reports to deadlines.
- Co-ordinate supplier set-ups and issuing/processing of contracts/PO’s, invoices and progress payments.
- Act as key point of contact for AP/AR and external suppliers on a range of queries.
- Support the team in the preparation and management of tender processes, contracts, planning and other approvals to time/cost metrics.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date project information to the Marketing/Sales/Customer teams to enable and support marketing/sales and customer service strategies and initiatives.
- Proactively liaise with/manage various external Consultants, local authorities and other service providers to meet agreed project deliverables.
- Participate in PCG and other relevant project meetings as required.
Skills and Experience - A degree in Engineering, Property Land Economics, Planning or related property discipline.
- Proven experience at an ADM level preferably within the residential development sector.
- Strong understanding of planning and regulations governing land development.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Feasbility modelling skills (Estate Master preferable)
- Good commercial acumen and analytical capability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
