Senior Town Planner 

• Statutory focused
• Location - Sydney CBD
• Salary - $95-120,000 + Super

ABOUT THE COMPANY.
 
This amazing firm adds value to all phases of a project by undertaking proper and coordinated project planning, assessing the issues against the project outcomes and managing the approval and implementation stages.
Their Directors and staff have a depth of experience across government and development sectors. This experience means they appreciate the various stakeholder’s views, and apply this knowledge to develop balanced, practical and achievable planning outcomes.
 
Quality planning advice and optimum outcomes requires both attention to detail and an ability to apply strategic thinking from project conception to completion. 
 
ABOUT THE POSITION.
 
We are recruiting for this well experienced company that offers town planning, planning policy and development advice to government and industry.  
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Providing statutory and strategic urban planning principles and methods and the ability to apply them, including advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments and the approval process and management
• Managing small to large size projects including their scoping and time management
• Maintaining and growing strong client relationships
• Supporting the delivery of planning projects 
• Nurturing and developing individual staff members, through effective coaching and mentoring

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Tertiary qualification in planning, or equivalent experience
• 5 years + experience in planning and project management
• Client focus in delivering project outcomes
• Thorough understanding of the effective delivery of planning services and business drivers of consulting
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and leadership ability, having impact and influence with the capacity to build professional relationships
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and record in project delivery
• Proven ability to work in a team environment to improve processes, respond to various demands and manage multiple activities simultaneously
