Architectural Draftsperson

• Location - Sydney
• Salary – $90,000 - $110,000 + Super 

ABOUT THE COMPANY.

They are looking for a Architectural Draftsperson who knows that design and planning should be challenged and researched, that an environment and community surrounding a development should be treated with respect, and that the end goal of building a home isn’t just building profits.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.

• This role is focused on housing projects, creating homes and communities
• Provide innovative designs, drawings, and documentation 
• Provide drawings and documentation to different levels of detail to suit the required stages of the design process. 
• Control the input and output of all documentation within the team to ensure distribution and follow up with relevant internal and external parties. 
• Liaise with internal and external parties to coordinate the design process in conjunction with the Design Manager. 
• Provide drawings and documentation in line with design briefs for product development and presentation 
• Identify cost-effective and buildable solutions to all designs. 
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and design guidelines.   

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Demonstrated experience in residential projects (minimum 5 years) 
• The ability to communicate and consult with various departments and consultants throughout the process 
• Tertiary qualifications in Architecture/ Building Design 
• Experience in Revit is essential 
• Good level of understanding in building codes and standards
