TheirCare is a before school, after-school and holiday program provider for primary school-aged children. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced OSHC Operations Manager to join our team.
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our before school, after-school and holiday programs. You will work closely with your team of Area Managers to deliver programs that operate smoothly, and our children are receiving the best possible care, delivering on our promises to each school community.
Responsible for leading a team of TheirCare Area Managers across the Greater Perth region in Western Australia, reporting directly to the Head of Operations. TheirCare are ready to invest in you, support your growth and career to deliver exceptional outcomes in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of TheirCare policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children in our care
- Manage the daily operations of before school, after school and holiday programs, including managing staff rostering
- Oversee the planning and delivery of engaging activities and experiences for children that support their learning and development
- Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and a positive relationship
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations of programs to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Monitor and manage budgets and finances for each program
- Implement strategies with each Area Manager to increase program enrolment and revenue
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance purposes
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in the OSHC sector
Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Children's Services or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in OSHC leadership role
- Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to effectively train, motivate, and manage a team
- Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHC regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and stakeholders
- High level of organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Sound financial management skills
- Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
