We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in financial reporting, process improvement, and supporting data-driven decision making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and substantiate Balance Sheet accounts and departmental revenue streams
• Assist with statutory and management reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
• Support Accounts Payable and provide technical accounting guidance
• Contribute to ATO reporting (BAS, Tax Returns, FBT)
• Develop and enhance operational and financial reporting, with a focus on automation
• Prepare sales commission statements and new business reporting
• Support audits, including preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors
• Monitor cost and revenue performance and drive continuous process improvements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and CapEx planning
• Support accounting standards implementation (AASB 15 & AASB 16)
• Contribute to commercial finance initiatives (e.g. invoicing automation, contract management)

• Experience in finance/accounting roles with exposure to reporting and financial close
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge (GL ownership, statutory reporting)
• Advanced Excel skills with financial modelling capability
• Experience with Power Query, M, or DAX highly regarded
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Well-organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards
