We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to deliver a professional, on-site building management service for a residential property. This role focuses on safety, compliance, maintenance, contractor coordination, and delivering an excellent resident experience.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day building operations, manage contractors, liaise with residents and the Owners Corporation, and ensure the building is maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular building, asset, and essential services inspections
- Manage preventative and reactive maintenance schedules
- Oversee security systems, access control, and incident reporting
- Coordinate contractors and monitor quality of works
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and waste management standards
- Act as the main point of contact for residents and building enquiries
- Monitor compliance with Owners Corporation rules
- Prepare reports and attend Owners Corporation meetings
- Manage move-ins/outs, keys, parcels, and building communications
About You - Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in building, facilities, or property management
- Confident managing contractors and building services
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, digital systems)
- Flexible to attend after-hours emergencies when required
- Formal qualifications in Facilities or Asset Management are advantageous but not essential.
- This role involves physical duties and availability for after-hours or weekend emergency calls.
