We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to deliver a professional, on-site building management service for a residential property. This role focuses on safety, compliance, maintenance, contractor coordination, and delivering an excellent resident experience.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day building operations, manage contractors, liaise with residents and the Owners Corporation, and ensure the building is maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular building, asset, and essential services inspections
• Manage preventative and reactive maintenance schedules
• Oversee security systems, access control, and incident reporting
• Coordinate contractors and monitor quality of works
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and waste management standards
• Act as the main point of contact for residents and building enquiries
• Monitor compliance with Owners Corporation rules
• Prepare reports and attend Owners Corporation meetings
• Manage move-ins/outs, keys, parcels, and building communications

About You

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience in building, facilities, or property management
• Confident managing contractors and building services
• Organised, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, digital systems)
• Flexible to attend after-hours emergencies when required
• Formal qualifications in Facilities or Asset Management are advantageous but not essential.
• This role involves physical duties and availability for after-hours or weekend emergency calls.
