Position Summary
The purpose of an Instrumental Music Teacher (Double Bass) is to provide support to the Music Department in delivering Instrumental Music Lessons to students from K - 12.
The Instrumental Music Teacher will demonstrate a high level of performance on their instrument as well as a thorough understanding of the pedagogical principles of both general music education and more specifically, playing and teaching.
Preferred teaching day: Fridays, as lessons alternate weekly between small group sessions and whole-class lessons with piano accompaniment. While Friday is the most desirable option, Tuesday may also be a possibility.
