Following continued global growth and significant investment across APAC, a leading global retail technology consultancy is seeking an Enterprise Architect – OMS & Composable Commerce to join its expanding technology team in Guangzhou, China.

The Opportunity

As the Enterprise Architect – OMS & Composable Commerce, you’ll own end-to-end architecture across the OMS platform, extension microservices, integrations and downstream systems.

Working directly with client Business, Technology and ISV teams, you’ll translate business requirements into scalable architecture, guide OOB vs custom-build decisions, and provide technical governance from discovery through delivery and production.

This is a senior, hands-on architecture role for someone who thrives on complex enterprise environments, client engagement and shaping technology decisions that deliver measurable outcomes.

What You Bring

• 12+ years’ technology experience with 3–4+ years in architecture or solutioning roles
• Hands-on OMS implementation experience essential
• Burgeon OMS experience highly regarded
• Strong B2B OMS knowledge across order lifecycle, inventory, allocation, fulfilment and returns
• Java/J2EE, microservices, REST APIs and event-driven architecture
• Strong AWS experience including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kinesis and S3
• Experience designing custom microservices and extensions around commercial OMS platforms
• Integration experience across WMS, PLM, payments, loyalty and promotion platforms
• Experience across serverless, containerised and server-based architectures
• Fluent Mandarin and English – essential
• Must be locally based in China / able to work in Guangzhou
• Flexibility for some PST overlap
