/ Reshape Finance, Systems & Performance at Scale
/ Board-Facing Role in Growing Multi-Entity Business
/ Transform Finance Operations
Gauvin Group is a privately owned, multi-entity business operating across Australia and New Zealand, with a diversified portfolio spanning owned brands including Haircare Group and evo, alongside a broader range of distribution and agency brand partnerships across international markets. With more than 30 legal entities, the Group operates a multi-channel organisation servicing wholesale, retail, B2B and B2C customers. The business is now entering a significant phase focused on strengthening financial performance, embedding new systems and driving greater alignment across an increasingly integrated operating model.
Reporting to the Directors and Board, the Chief Financial Officer will operate as an enterprise leader and strategic partner, shaping decision-making and driving financial performance across the group. Leading a team of approximately 20 people, including 7 direct reports, the role requires a balance of strategy oversight and hands-on leadership. A key priority will be supporting a major ERP transformation, embedding a fully integrated NetSuite environment across finance and operations.
In parallel, the CFO will strengthen financial governance, drive working capital performance and introduce greater rigour and accountability across the group. Operating at Board level within a family-owned governance environment, the CFO will act as a critical conduit between the Board and executive, providing clear, commercially grounded insight to support decision making. The position will also play an active role in supporting growth initiatives, including the evaluation of investment opportunities and M&A activity.
This is a true enterprise leadership role requiring a commercially astute and influential CFO who has operated at scale and delivered through change. CA/CPA qualified, you will bring experience from multi-entity, distribution or similarly complex environments, with a track record transforming finance operations. You are confident operating at Board level, able to influence stakeholders and bring clarity, structure and discipline to an evolving enterprise.
This is a defining CFO appointment for a leader who wants to shape performance, embed structure and leave a lasting mark on a growing and evolving business.
