/ Drive Automation, Scale and Global Expansion
Aerometrex is an ASX-listed geospatial technology company providing aerial imagery, LiDAR and 3D modelling data that helps organisations better understand and plan the world around them. With around 100 employees and revenue of approximately $24 million, the business has built a strong reputation for innovation through its flagship MetroMap platform and advanced spatial data solutions. Headquartered in Adelaide, Aerometrex serves customers across government, infrastructure, property, resources and utilities sectors. With recent strong financial performance and growing demand for high-quality spatial data, the company is entering a new phase of growth and transformation.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a newly created role responsible for leading the operational delivery and capability of the business. Overseeing production and technology, quality, safety and working closely with aviation, you will bring together multiple teams to strengthen performance and outcomes across data capture, production workflows, software infrastructure and publishing platforms. The COO will lead initiatives to automate and modernise legacy processes, streamline workflows and improve efficiency across the production pipeline, enabling the business to scale effectively as demand for spatial data continues to accelerate.
A commercially minded and technically credible leader, you bring proven experience leading complex operational environments where technology, production and data intersect. You may currently operate as a COO, General Manager or senior operational leader within a high-technology, SaaS, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, defence or industrial automation context. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on leadership style and have demonstrated success improving processes, implementing automation or digital transformation initiatives, and building high-performing cross-functional teams. Strong people leadership, executive communication skills and the ability to translate strategy into operational reality will be critical to success. Formal qualifications in business, technology, engineering or a related discipline are required, with an MBA highly regarded.
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing ASX-listed technology company and play a central role in shaping the operational platform that will support its next phase of growth.
