Project Manager - Solar
Location: Melbourne / Regional VIC
Contract: Contract rates, with potential to transition to permanent
Start Date: October 2026

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager  to join a project team delivering a solar installation package in Victoria.
The project involves piling and solar panel installation, with electrical works excluded from the scope. With a contract value of approximately $5 million, this is a focused package of works suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on and taking ownership of project delivery.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of the piling and solar panel installation works.
• Take ownership of project planning, programming, budget and delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Monitor project progress, costs, quality and safety.
• Manage project documentation, reporting and commercial requirements.
• Liaise with the client and key project stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, standards and timeframes.
• Provide leadership and support to the site-based project team.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within construction, civil or renewables.
• Experience working on solar, piling, civil or similar construction projects highly desirable.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to manage a focused package of works with a hands-on approach.
• Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, quality and safety.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously.
