Job Title: Senior Technical Interior Designer

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Interior Designer with strong Revit expertise to support the technical delivery of high-quality interior design projects. This role is heavily focused on BIM-led coordination, detailed technical design, and construction documentation, ensuring design intent is fully resolved and coordinated across all disciplines.
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the technical development of interior design projects using Revit from Detailed Design through IFC
• Produce, manage, and review Revit models, drawings, schedules, and technical packages
• Ensure full coordination of interiors within the BIM environment, working closely with architects, MEP, and structural consultants
• Develop and maintain interior Revit families, details, and standards
• Review consultant models and resolve clashes and coordination issues
• Prepare detailed joinery, fit-out, and bespoke detailing within Revit
• Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and support the project team during construction
• Conduct site visits and provide technical input to contractors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes and authority requirements
• Mentor junior designers in Revit workflows and technical best practices

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• 7-10+ years of experience in interior design with a strong technical focus
• Advanced proficiency in Revit is mandatory (interior fit-out and technical detailing experience essential)
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows and coordination
• Experience delivering high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial interiors
• Solid knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, finishes, and joinery systems
• Prior experience working in the UAE/GCC market
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
