Job Title: Retail Business Developer Location: Dubai Salary: 20,000 AED per month Role Overview The Retail Business Developer is responsible for driving new business opportunities, increasing brand visibility, and generating qualified leads for the showroom. This role focuses on building strong relationships with private clients, interior designers, real estate brokers, investors, and luxury partners, while supporting the Sales Team in converting opportunities into successful projects. Key Responsibilities:
Retail Market Development
Identify new business opportunities aligned with the brand's portfolio in the UAE
Build and maintain a network of designers, brokers, developers, and lifestyle partners to increase showroom traffic and qualified leads
Represent the brand at events, meetings, and industry networking activities
Lead Generation and Brand Awareness
Generate high-quality leads through field activity, partnerships, and targeted outreach
Collaborate with Marketing to develop initiatives that enhance visibility and attract premium audiences
Support event planning, showroom activations, and presentations to strengthen retail presence
Lead Nurturing and Relationship Development
Manage early-stage communication with prospects and ensure smooth integration into the sales process
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through updates, invitations, and relevant content
Ensure accurate lead recording and segmentation in the CRM system
Collaboration with Sales Team
Transfer qualified leads to Sales Executives with complete context and insights
Support Sales with client information to enable tailored proposals and effective follow-ups
Stay involved at key stages to reinforce brand positioning and improve conversion rates
Strategic Partnerships and Retail Activations
Identify potential collaborators in luxury, real estate, and lifestyle sectors
Support co-marketing initiatives and retail events to elevate brand exposure
Reporting and KPIs
Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, contacts, and pipeline progression
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on activities and results
Achieve targets related to lead generation, account activation, and contribution to retail sales
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience
3-4 years in Business Development or Sales within luxury retail, interiors, design, furniture, kitchens, lighting, or real estate
Experience working with private clients and premium networks in the UAE
Skills
Strong communication, networking, and presentation skills
High sense of aesthetics and passion for design and luxury
Ability to nurture relationships and activate opportunities
Familiarity with CRM tools (Odoo is a plus)
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment
