Salary: AED 10,000/month
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially savvy Procurement Executive to manage the sourcing and purchasing of chemicals, raw materials, and packaging supplies. Based in Dubai, this role plays a critical part in ensuring timely material availability at optimal cost and quality, supporting seamless trading and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Supplier Development
• Identify and qualify reliable suppliers for chemicals, packaging, and related materials
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize cost efficiency
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor performance on quality, delivery, and compliance
• Explore alternative sources to reduce risk and improve supply chain resilience
Purchasing & Logistics Coordination
• Prepare and issue accurate Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company policies
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve discrepancies
• Liaise with logistics partners for import/export documentation and shipment tracking
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases
• Track market trends, currency fluctuations, and chemical pricing
Compliance & Reporting
• Maintain detailed logs of supplier activity, purchase history, and pricing
• Analyze procurement trends and supplier performance
• Support reporting needs including dashboards, presentations, and meeting documentation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Sales, Technical, and Operations teams to forecast demand and plan procurement
• Assist in sourcing specialty chemicals for new product launches
• Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on procurement status and market developments
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
• 2–5 years of procurement or supply chain experience, ideally in chemical trading or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of chemical products, import/export procedures, and procurement documentation
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
