Midweight Interior Designer – Workplace Design
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 15,000 – 20,000 per month
Hybrid (3 days in 2 from home)

Our client is an internationally recognised commercial workplace design studio establishing a growing presence in Dubai. With a strong design-led ethos and a reputation for creative, intelligent office environments, the studio delivers workplace projects for global clients across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

This is an exciting opportunity to join their small but ambitious Dubai team at an early stage, contributing to the growth of their regional presence while collaborating closely with international design teams.

The Role The studio is seeking a Midweight Interior Designer with proven UAE experience in commercial office design. The ideal candidate will have strong conceptual and technical skills, a passion for workplace environments, and the ability to work confidently in a client-facing role.
You will be involved across all project stages – from concept and space planning through to design development and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative, functional design concepts for workplace projects.
• Produce detailed drawings, plans, and 3D visuals using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
• Participate in client presentations and contribute to pitch work.
• Collaborate with senior designers and project teams across the studio’s global network.
• Support in sourcing materials, finishes, and furniture.
• Prepare presentation documents and assist in design coordination with consultants and contractors.

Requirements

• Minimum 4–6 years’ experience within a commercial interior design or design & build studio.
• UAE experience is essential.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating workplace projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Confident and professional in client-facing environments.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced setting within a growing team.
