Our Centre 

St Catherine’s Outside School Hours Care is located at St Catherine’s Primary School, within Upper Mt Gravatt/Wishart Parish. We also provide care to the children from Wishart State School. 

Our service is well equipped with a range of resources for children, air-conditioning, a separate homework room, a huge concrete oval and access to the multi-purpose hall and grass oval.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.

  Job Requirements:

• Holds a Certificate III or Diploma qualification or higher relevant to working with Children - a range of study areas may be recognised including, behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation, and human welfare studies - preferred but not essential. 
• Holds a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Effective workplace communication skills
