About the Role:
Centacare Community Services is seeking a dedicated and professional Administration Officer to join our team based in Hervey Bay. This role primarily focuses on reception duties and managing a high volume of customer enquiries, delivering exceptional service to clients and stakeholders across a diverse range of services, including Homelessness, Emergency Accommodation, Family and Relationship Services, Aged Care, and Disability Support.
As an Administration Officer, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and supportive experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting clients and visitors, many of whom may have complex needs, and professionally connecting them with the appropriate services.
- Managing a high volume of incoming calls via the Genesys Cloud phone system, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Handling a diverse range of customer enquiries efficiently, with a focus on first-contact resolution.
- Providing administrative support, including data entry, record maintenance, filing, and preparation of correspondence.
- Assisting in maintaining office processes to support smooth operations.
Key Requirements: - Demonstrated experience in a reception or customer service role, particularly in a high-call-volume environment.
- Proficiency in using cloud-based phone systems (such as Genesys Cloud) and managing complex call workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to address a wide range of customer enquiries professionally.
- Empathy and understanding in supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic record management.
- Working with Children ‘blue card’, a National Police Certificate, and NDIS Worker Screening.
