About the Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a casual Educator (Children’s Services Employee) at St Thomas Outside School Hours Care in Camp Hill.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and stimulating environment for primary school-aged children during before school care, after school care, and vacation care programs for up to 105 children. Your duties will include observing and engaging with children during play, both in groups and individually, to tailor future programming to their needs, skills, and interests.
Located within St Thomas' Primary School, our OSHC offers easy access to various facilities, including an outdoor multi-purpose court, indoor hall, grassed oval, and playgrounds. As a part of our team, you will contribute to a safe and fun environment that meets the diverse needs of children, families, and staff.
We are hiring for a range of shifts, but we especially need staff available for Tuesday afternoon OSHC shifts.

Job Requirements: - Working towards a Cert III or Diploma qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children
- Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
