Our Service
St Francis College OSHC located in Crestmead, is a key part of the parish and school community. We care for up to 60 children, offering programs that cater to their diverse needs while ensuring a safe and engaging environment. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture of diversity and interdependence, helping children value and respect one another.
During vacation care, we provide a variety of activities, including cooking, craft, outdoor sports, reading, board games, puzzles, construction, and gardening, welcoming children from other schools to join in the fun.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks.
- Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare
Job Requirements: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- A strong understanding of Child Care legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place
- Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software.
- Proven leadership and team development skills
