We are seeking to appoint a casual Educator (Children’s Services Employee) at St Pius Outside School Hours Care in Banyo.

At St Pius Outside School Hours Care we provide before school care, after school care and vacation care for up to 190 children. 

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and energetic educator who is passionate about supporting primary school aged children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy and safe environment.

We are looking for an educator for primarily afternoon shifts with the occasional morning leave to cover leave.

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…

• Providing nurturing care for children
• Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
• Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

 Job Requirements:

• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Effective workplace communication skills
