We are conveniently located on Maundrell Terrace in Chermside West, and we care for children from six weeks and offer a Queensland Government approved kindergarten program for children in the year before prep.
About the OpportunityWe are looking for an exceptional Lead Educator to join our well established and long term team at Majella. We are looking for someone who can Lead and work collaboratively with their assistant in preparing programs for the children based on their interests and needs in our Senior Toddler room (2 - 3 years). The right applicant will be bubbly, fun, enthusiastic have great communuication and have exceptional knowledge around the EYLF and NQS. Our service has 5 spacious and well eqipped rooms. You will receive a minimum of 2 hours programming time each week. If this sounds like you, we would love for you to apply.
Hours: Full time hours. Rostered shifts will be between our operating hours (7am to 6pm) with a monthly 2 hour staff meeting.
Remuneration: as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010. Level 4.1 to Level 4.3 depending on qualifications and experience - Above Award rates.

Job Requirements: - Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA, or Working Towards
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
- Effective workplace communication skills
