Casual Educator – St Elizabeth’s OSHC

St Elizabeth’s Outside School Hours Care, located within the grounds of St Elizabeth’s Primary School, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Casual Educators to join our team.
Our service cares for up to 135 children across before school, after school and vacation care. We’re passionate about creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where children can be themselves, have fun and build meaningful relationships.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator As an Educator, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Provide nurturing care and genuine support to children
• Create a safe, secure and welcoming environment where every child feels included
• Plan and facilitate fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and your team
• Work collaboratively with your colleagues to provide high-quality experiences for children
• Take part in exciting excursions, activities and special events during vacation care
• Make a positive difference in children’s lives every day

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, or working towards a qualification, or an equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA (desirable but not essential)
• A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A genuine passion for working with school-aged children in a play-based environment
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• A positive, energetic and team-focused approach
