St Joseph's Outside School Hours Care is a welcoming, community-focused service operating as part of the local parish community. We provide high-quality Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care, offering children a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment to learn, play, and grow.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator…
- Provide warm, nurturing care for children across before school, after school, and vacation care
- Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all
- Design and deliver fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Join exciting excursions and special events during vacation care

Responsibilities: - Engage and supervise children in a safe and supportive manner during before and after school care sessions
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning, creativity, and social development
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain a clean and organised OSHC environment
- Comply with all relevant policies and regulations
Job Requirements: - Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
- Experience in an inclusion support role or a Certificate III in Individual Support is highly regarded
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
