St Peter Chanel Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) in The Gap is seeking enthusiastic and caring Educators to join our welcoming team. Operating Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care, we provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.
As an OSHC Educator, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to participate. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and supervision for school-aged children
- Deliver engaging play-based experiences that reflect children's interests and strengths
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Support the day-to-day operations of the service
- Contribute to programming, activities, and special events
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
- Maintain compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and service standards
What We're Looking For - Experience working with school-aged children in an OSHC, education, recreation, or care setting, not essential but highly regarded.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, reliable, and proactive approach
- Ability to create engaging experiences that are fun, inclusive, and child-focused
- Current completion of, or willingness to complete, mandatory National Child Safety Training (Gecko Learning)
