We're looking for enthusiastic, fun, and caring Casual Educators to join our team at St Eugene's Outside School Hours Care in Burpengary.
This casual role offers 10+ hours per week. We're especially interested in applicants who are available for after-school care Monday to Friday, but we're happy to discuss flexible availability with the right candidate.
Located within St Eugene's College, our service provides before school, after school, and vacation care for up to 135 children from Prep to Year 6. With access to excellent school facilities, we offer a rich and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow. One of our favourite highlights is our community garden, a wonderful space where children love to dig, plant, and connect with nature.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator…
- Provide warm, nurturing care for children across before school, after school, and vacation care

Job Requirements: - Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent — highly regarded but not essential
- Previous childcare experience is beneficial but not required
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Hold a current Child Protection/Safeguarding qualification
- At least one applicant with Monday to Friday after school care availability is preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning Framework and National Law/Regulations (or ability to acquire)
- A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills within the workplace
