St Joseph's Outside School Hours Care is a welcoming, community-focused service operating as part of the Kangaroo Point/East Brisbane Parish community and located within the St Joseph's Church precinct.
We provide high-quality Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care, offering children a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment to learn, play, and grow.
Our program makes the most of the diverse play spaces across the St Joseph's Primary School grounds and includes a wide range of enriching experiences such as cooking, arts and crafts, music, organised sports, drama, indoor group games, and much more.

The Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and caring Educators to join our vibrant Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting the growth, learning, and development of school-aged children in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…
- Providing nurturing care for children
- Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
- Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Responsibilities: - Engage and supervise children in a safe and supportive manner during before and after-school care sessions.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning, creativity, and social development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean and organized OSHC environment.
- Comply with all relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications: - Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing educational programs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Completed Child Safety Training certificate
