About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated SME with strong expertise in the Aurion Payroll System to join our team. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, payroll teams, HR, and technology teams to analyse business requirements, improve processes, and support the successful delivery of payroll and HR system initiatives.
The successful candidate will bring strong Aurion experience and will contribute to system improvements, process optimisation, and data cleansing activities to ensure the organisation is well-positioned for future transformation initiatives. Experience with other HCM, payroll, and workforce management systems will be highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will have extensive Aurion experience, combined with hands-on system configuration and Maintenance of Aurion Payroll and workforce management.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and recommend effective solutions.
- Support the implementation, enhancement, and optimisation of the Aurion Payroll system.
- Configure Aurion to meet payroll, legislative and business requirements.
- Analyse existing reporting, standard and custom to ensure suitability and accuracy.
- Review and improve existing payroll and HR system processes, controls, and data quality.
- Lead and support data cleansing, validation, and migration activities associated with system improvements and future implementations.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of a new HCM and Payroll system implementation.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system testing, and defect resolution.
- Work closely with project managers, developers, vendors, and testing teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including business requirements, process maps, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, policies, and organizational standards.
Required Skills and Experience - Minimum 5 years of Aurion experience.
- Demonstrated expert-level experience working with the Aurion Payroll System.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, HR systems, and workforce management.
- Demonstrated experience supporting payroll, HRIS, or HCM system implementations, upgrades, or transformation projects.
- Experience reviewing, improving, and optimizing existing payroll and HR system processes.
- Experience with data cleansing, data quality improvement, validation, and migration activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
