Join Our Team as an Educator – Wondunna Long Day Care & Kindy 12-Month Fixed Term Contract | Full-Time (38 hours per week)

We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a passionate Educator to join our team at Wondunna Long Day Care & Kindy on a 12-month maternity leave cover contract.
This is a meaningful full-time role (38 hours per week), working across our service supporting children in a play-based learning environment where you’ll make a genuine difference by fostering inclusion, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
About You
You are warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about inclusion and early childhood education. You enjoy working as part of a team and are committed to helping every child succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Provide targeted one on one and small group support for children with additional needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Support the delivery of play-based learning experiences
- Work collaboratively with educators on programming, documentation, and daily routines
- Build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and your team
To be successful, you will have: - Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (preferred but not essential)
- A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Experience in an inclusion support role (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for supporting children in a play-based learning environment
