Now Open | OSHC Coordinator – St Paul’s Woodridge

Step into an exciting leadership opportunity at St Paul’s OSHC, Woodridge — a newly established service that has already opened its doors and is building strong momentum within the school community.

With a licensed capacity of 60, this vibrant service offers access to shared spaces including the parish centre, library, and outdoor areas — creating a dynamic and flexible environment for both educators and children.

We’re seeking a passionate OSHC Coordinator to lead and inspire a small, dedicated team of 3 educators, overseeing the After School Care program (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM).

This is a permanent, part-time role (20 hours per week, term-time only) — perfect for someone ready to step into leadership and shape a growing service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation of our After School Care ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
• Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
• Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
• Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
• Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
• Child Protection training is required for this role.
• Previous childcare service management experience.
• Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
