About the Role
Are you passionate about building capability and improving care outcomes? Centacare is seeking an experienced and motivated Educator for Fixed Term, Full-Time contract role to support high-quality service delivery through engaging, practical, and evidence-based training.

Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality training across induction, mandatory requirements, and role or site-specific needs, using a range of delivery modes
• Design, develop, and update training and assessment resources to meet industry, compliance, and organisational standards
• Apply competency-based learning and assessment frameworks (digital and face-to-face)
• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve training effectiveness through feedback and consultation
• Identify emerging industry trends, training gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Provide targeted training in areas such as Supported Independent Living Services (SILS) and respond to identified practice or quality issues
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), and external providers
• Provide subject matter expertise to support incidents, audits, projects, compliance reviews, and operational implementation
• Contribute to organisational policy, procedure, and practice development through research and expert input
• Identify and escalate risks to client safety and wellbeing, and support preventative strategies and service improvements

About You:
You will bring strong professional credibility, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for adult learning. You will also have:

• A qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Behavioural Science, Health, Community Services, or a related discipline (highly desirable)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
• At least 3 years’ experience in a clinical or practice setting within health, disability, aged care, or the community sector
• Sound knowledge of adult learning principles and experience training a non-clinical workforce
• Demonstrated experience delivering competency-based training and assessment
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships
• Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills
• Strong organisational, systems thinking, and decision-making capabilities
• A commitment to achieving exceptional outcomes for clients
