OSHC Coordinator – St Edward’s Outside School Hours Care
We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to lead our vibrant Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service at St Edward’s the Confessor School and Parish Community. Licensed for up to 129 children, our service provides before school, after school and vacation care in a welcoming, community-focused environment.
This full-time role (38 hours per week, Monday to Friday with split shifts) is supported by an Assistant Coordinator and a dedicated team of educators. You will work from spacious facilities in the Parish Hall, with access to playgrounds, large green spaces and an activity room. Breakfast and healthy afternoon snacks are provided daily.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
- Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
- Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.
- Promote our service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Requirements of the Role: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Child protection training is a requirement of this role.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
