Our long-standing Centre Director is retiring, opening a rare and exciting opportunity to lead our Exceeding service at Star of the Sea Cleveland.
We’re a warm, community-focused early learning centre with five beautiful rooms and a team of dedicated, professional educators who are passionate about delivering high-quality care.

We're seeking someone who brings not only strong leadership but also
warmth, creativity, and joy to the centre every day.
Your Key Responsibilities - Lead the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staffing, administration, and financial management
- Provide strong, supportive leadership that guides and inspires your team
- Oversee the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive educational program
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, engaging environment for all children
- Build positive, collaborative relationships with families and the community
- Promote the service in alignment with Catholic Early EdCare values and philosophy
- Balance contact time with out-of-ratio leadership and administrative duties
What You’ll Bring - Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent (as per ACECQA guidelines)
- Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- Strong understanding of childcare legislation, including the NQF, NQS, EYLF and QKLG
- Confident computer and administrative skills (experience with Xplor advantageous)
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities
- Willingness to obtain Child Protection Training as required
