St Peter’s Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) has been a trusted part of the St Peter’s Catholic Primary School community for over 18 years. We provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment for 135 children from Prep to Year 6, offering before school care, after school care, and exciting vacation programs.
Our OSHC team is dedicated to evolving and adapting to the needs of children and their families, delivering childcare in a caring, home-like setting.
Our programs are dynamic, reflecting both the diverse skills and experiences of our team and the interests and talents of the children we care for.

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…
Providing nurturing care for children
Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Job requirements:
Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) would be desirable.
Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
