Quality Specialist – Assessment & Rating

CEEC is building a new Quality Team — and we’re looking for an experienced, passionate Quality Specialist to be part of this exciting next chapter.

About the Role
As a Quality Specialist, you will play a key role in lifting service performance and building capability across CEEC. Working within the National Quality Framework (NQF), you will guide services through the full Assessment & Rating (A&R) process, lead quality improvement initiatives, and support leaders to embed best practice.
This position is based at our Paddington office and requires regular travel across our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support services through every stage of the Assessment & Rating cycle
- Conduct readiness reviews, documentation audits, and mock assessments
- Analyse outcomes and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop tailored action plans and quality improvement strategies
- Provide coaching and mentoring to service leaders and teams
- Collaborate with Quality, Safeguarding, and Compliance teams to strengthen organisational practice
About You To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood, Education, or Community Services
- Strong knowledge of the NQF and the Assessment & Rating process
- Experience in quality, compliance, or leadership within the ECEC sector
- Excellent communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence practice
- A Driver’s Licence, Blue Card, and relevant compliance clearances
