Leichhardt OSHC is on the lookout for a dedicated Coordinator to inspire, guide, and shape a fun, inclusive environment for children in before school, after school, and vacation care.
Part of the close-knit Immaculate Heart School and Ipswich Parish community, our service is based in the school hall and welcomes up to 90 children each day. We’re proud of our strong community connections and the supportive, family-like atmosphere we’ve built.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
- Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
- Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.
- Promote our service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Requirements of the Role: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
