Since 2003, St Oliver Plunkett Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) has proudly supported our school community in Cannon Hill, offering quality before school, after school, and vacation care for up to 195 children.
We create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where kids can enjoy age-appropriate activities—from active outdoor play to creative projects and life skills development.
We're currently looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Casual Educators, who’s studying education or a related field. If you're passionate about working with children and keen to gain hands-on experience, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
Requirements: - A Diploma or ACECQA equivalent qualification would be desirable.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
